We are very sorry to say that we must cancel the Bear Flag Trio Japan Tour. We are very sad about this decision, but we feel it is necessary due to the Corona Virus. 1. Our airline, (United Airlines) has cancelled many flights to Japan, and is likely to cancel more. 2. Many travelers from Asia returning to the US are being placed in quarantine for two weeks. We cannot afford to be in quarantine and away from our jobs for two weeks. 3. The Japanese government is restricting travel within Japan and urging citizens to stay home except for essential travel. Our friends in Japan tell us that many Japanese will stay home and not go out to live shows. We would be sad to play to empty clubs. We do not make this decision lightly, in fact it is very painful. We have worked hard and planned this trip for many months. We are sorry to disappoint our Japanese friends and fans, but we ask you to be understanding. We are very sorry. We would like to reschedule the tour for Winter 2020, hopefully at the beginning of December. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you in a few months!
